Technical Note:
| With over twenty years of experience repairing and recycling
photocells, very rarely do we experience relay failures on electronic
photocells. The general load requirements for light fittings
on single/ twin street lighting columns and the number of switching
operations easily give a photocell relay 20+ years life. The
key to extended life on our photocell design is its additional
front end circuit protection, circuit stability and power/ heat
